ABOUT ME
My name is Bart Renaer.
I moved to Romania in 2021 and found the Space of Love for me and my beloved in the Romanian mountains in Zlatna.
I grew up and lived mainly in Belgium (Flanders) and also in the Netherlands.
I studied psychology (Catholic University of Leuven) from 1992 until 1997. I worked in several big companies as a trainer of social skills, had my own practice as a psychotherapist, studied mediation for divorced couples and worked in the youth care with families and children.
I started to work with animals in 2023 when I started to live in a house in the Romanian mountains with Juvi, the dog that lived there.
That’s when I discovered the ‘trust technique‘ which I used with Juvi, so she didn’t have to bark all night because she felt anxious.
Currently I am following the course to become a ‘trust technique practitioner‘.
Our Services
1:1 teaching
I will teach you the principles of the method I use, so you can solve problems you encounter with your pet on your own.
The teaching takes place in sessions (of about one hour) at the place where your pet lives.
The first session (intake) is a free one.
The price I ask at this moment for a session is 100 lei, and the transport costs (for Alba Iulia that is 100 lei, divided into the clients I see that day)
I work mainly on Saturdays.
online teaching
This includes the same ideas and prices as the 1:1 teaching sessions, only this time we work during a video call where I can look at the behavior of your pet.
The cost for these sessions is currently 100 lei.
5 sessions
You can also decide to start with at least 5 sessions, and in that case the price of 5 sessions will be 400 lei instead of 500 lei (and the transport cost of each session)

FAQs
Do you work yourself with my pet?
Yes I will, but only when I want to show you a specific skill or idea, to illustrate something.
But my work with your pet will be very limited.
My work is to teach you as the owner of the pet the skills to apply this method yourself, so you are for example able to solve a behavioral problem of your pet yourself.
How many sessions does it take to resolve a problem with a pet?
As few as needed.
And it is you who decides after every session if you need a next session or not.
I for example myself needed 10 sessions to resolve the problem I then had with my dog, but my dog had a very complex emotional problem.
Is this a form of training?
No, it isn’t.
But it can and it will be beneficial to train your pet.
The aim of this method is to lower the thinking levels of your pet, so he or she is able to start to think more clearly and to solve the problems he has.
Where do the sessions take place?
In the place where the pet lives, so most of the time at the house of the owner.
What is the idea Behind your method
The central idea is that your pet doesn’t have to experience the amount of fear he is experiencing at the moment, and that he can move towards a more peaceful life.
Doing so it will affect the way he sees the reality (calm and relaxed) and it also will affect the way you are connected with your pet and the relationship you have with your pet. It will become a relationship of trust.
And in the end it will also affect the ife you live as the owner of the pet, and also you will move towards a more peaceful life.
